Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These Terms govern your use of the international air courier service and website
operated by JEHIL EXPRESS ("we", "us"), covering shipments from Canada to Korea.
2. The service
- We carry items accepted in Canada by air to Korea. Once in Korea, delivery to the recipient is completed by Korea Post.
- Flights normally depart twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday). Schedules may change due to airline, weather, or customs conditions.
- Estimated transit times are guidance only and are not a guaranteed delivery date.
3. Booking and formation of the contract
- The carriage contract is formed when we confirm the shipment you submitted.
- The amount shown at booking is an estimate based on the weight you declared.
- The final charge is set after we weigh your items, using the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight = L(cm) × W(cm) × H(cm) ÷ 6,000.
4. Your responsibilities
- Sender, recipient, and contents must be declared truthfully.
- The personal customs clearance code must belong to the recipient.
- Electronics are limited to one device per person. Items with built-in lithium batteries may incur an airline battery check fee.
- Health supplements are limited to six bottles per shipment.
The following cannot be accepted:
- Flammable goods (alcohol-based sanitiser, aerosols, and similar)
- Agricultural or animal products subject to quarantine (jerky, deer antler, feed)
- Anything prohibited or restricted under applicable export or import law
5. Duties and customs
- Where the declared value exceeds US $150, Korean customs may levy import duty and VAT, payable by the recipient.
- Penalties, duties, or disposal costs arising from a false declaration are yours.
- Customs may delay, return, or destroy items at their discretion; we are not liable for such decisions.
6. Payment
- Charges are invoiced after weighing and may be paid by card (in KRW), Interac e-Transfer, or in person.
- For card payments the KRW amount is fixed at the exchange rate applied at payment.
- We may hold a shipment until payment is received.
7. Cancellation
- You may cancel before we take possession of the items.
- Cancellation is not possible after the shipment has departed by air.
- Amounts already paid are refunded in full if you cancel before departure.
8. Liability
- Where items are lost or damaged through our intent or negligence, we compensate up to the declared value.
- Claims must be made within 14 days of delivery.
We are not liable for:
- Damage caused by inadequate packing
- Loss arising from the nature of the goods (spoilage, deterioration)
- Force majeure, flight delay or cancellation, or action taken by customs
- Loss of undeclared valuables, cash, or securities
9. Personal information
We collect and use personal information only as needed to provide the service. See
our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes
We may amend these Terms. Amendments take effect when posted in our Notices.
Effective date
These Terms take effect on 1 January 2026.
