JEHIL EXPRESS ("we", "us") treats your personal information with care. This policy
explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
1. What we collect
When you create an account
- Required: email, password, name (Korean and English), phone number
- Optional: KakaoTalk ID
When you book a shipment
- Sender: English name, phone, email, Canadian address
- Recipient: name, phone, Korean address, personal customs clearance code
- Item details: type, weight, dimensions, contents and declared value
When you pay
- Payment method, approval number, card issuer, amount
- Card credentials are handled by our payment provider; we do not store them.
Collected automatically
- Access logs and cookies (to keep you signed in and remember your language)
2. Why we use it
- To form and perform the carriage contract: accepting, shipping, and delivering items
- To complete Korean customs clearance and meet related legal obligations
- To calculate, invoice, and collect charges
- To notify you about booking, pickup, and delivery, and to answer enquiries
- For aggregate analysis to improve the service
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not share personal information except as set out below.

5. Retention
- Account details: until you close your account
- Shipment records: 5 years (contract and withdrawal records)
- Payment records: 5 years (payment records)
- Access logs: 3 months
We destroy information without delay once its retention period ends: electronic files
are deleted irrecoverably and printed material is shredded.
6. Your rights
You may at any time ask us to:
- Show or correct your information — you can edit it yourself under My Page > Profile
- Stop processing or delete your account
- Withdraw consent
Contact us using the details below and we will act without delay, except for records
we are required by law to retain.
7. How we protect it
- Passwords are stored using one-way encryption and cannot be read back.
- Pages containing personal information are reachable only by the signed-in account.
- Staff access is limited to those who need it for their work.
8. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. You may refuse
cookies in your browser, but features requiring sign-in will not work.
